Wensley Roofing History
Wensley Roofing was set up in 1987. The first business premises were in Washington, but in 1999 Wensley Roofing moved to the site that it still occupies in Chester-le-Street, County Durham. Since it was founded, the business has grown steadily and in 1997 it became a company limited by shares. In 2006 Wensley Roofing became part of the Northern Bear group.

The way we work: We aim to develop long-term relationships with our key clients and our supply chain based on trust, openness and team work. By working together to agree objectives and performance measures, we greatly increase the likelihood of services being provided to everyone’s satisfaction – good quality, safely, on time and within budget. Since 1980 we have built up a network of trusted suppliers who completely understand our needs for top quality materials to be delivered on time.
