Wensley Roofing was appointed by Esh Construction to deliver the roofing package for a large residential development at Roseberry, Pelton. The scheme forms part of housing being delivered for Karbon Homes and includes a mix of 73 new build houses and a 47-unit apartment block.
The project was delivered on a fast-paced new build site, requiring careful coordination and efficient delivery to keep up with the overall construction programme.
With multiple dwellings and an apartment block being built simultaneously using timber frame kits, the roofing works needed to be tightly sequenced alongside other trades to avoid delays and maintain momentum on site.
Wensley Roofing deployed experienced teams to deliver a consistent and well-managed roofing package across the development.
Using Marley roof tiles and working within the timber frame construction method, the team ensured all roofing works were completed to specification and aligned with the wider build programme.
Close coordination with Esh Construction and other trades helped maintain smooth workflow across a busy, high-volume site, with planning and communication key to delivery.
Since commencing on site in March 2025, Wensley Roofing has progressed the works efficiently with no major issues encountered throughout the project.
The roofing package is now nearing completion, delivered to programme on a fast-moving site environment. The project demonstrates Wensley Roofing’s capability to deliver large-scale residential roofing schemes reliably, while maintaining quality and coordination across multiple housing types.
